Nestled in the charming market town of Fishguard, James John Hamilton House and Backpacker Hostel is a delightful discovery for any traveler. From the moment we arrived, Steve, the owner, showcased a remarkable level of hospitality that made our stay feel truly special. The light-filled living room, adorned with cosy leather couches and inviting squashy cushions, became our sanctuary after a day of exploring the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The convenient shared kitchen allowed us to whip up some quick meals, and we particularly enjoyed the light breakfast offerings - a perfect way to start our days before embarking on cycling adventures along the coastal path. With its spacious rooms and en-suite bathrooms, the comfort of the hostel was always appreciated, especially after our excursions. The location could not be more ideal; not only is it a stone's throw away from local eateries and shops, but it also provides easy access to breathtaking hiking trails.
